Welcome to Amethyst
Rain!
This site was
started in October 2003 and Originally called Rainshadow's Dolls, Amethyst Rain
has made it's journey through the web with different names, urls, and layouts.
Now, about me....I'm 31 years old, and a super busy mom. I home school my
10 year old
son and have two businesses. I'm originally from Texas, but moved from
here to there to every where...now I'm in the remote mountains of Idaho.
I started building a website for my businesses about
8 years ago, but just made a plain site. Then I got interested in all
kinds of things like frames and stuff. So now, every chance I get, I'm creating
a new site.
I love animals!
Hubby and I started out with 2 dogs and a cat, and now we have 20 chickens, 4
cats, 5 bunnies, 2 Guinea Pigs and a dog. We had several other animals, but they have
gone to the Rainbow Bridge. It's a good thing we have room
for those pets! lol We live out in the "boonies" on a mountain and haul water and
chop fire wood and such...it's
amazing we have internet access up here. LOL It's actually very nice out here
regardless. I love living away from cities and have some elbow room.
